DS IK is set up most easily by using the Universal Manipulator which adds pinning controls to the tool widget on selected nodes - it's easier to pull a pinned item out of place than with Active Pose but its pinning does respect translations and rotations, either applied in the viewport or from the Parameters pane.In this tutorial, I walk you through how to edit your Facial mocap using Power Pose and the Face Controls on a Genesis character. DS4 also has IK pretty much like Poser's, though it's pins are less strong and it lacks features such as parentable IK targets so you can't have a figure respond to movements of another figure or prop (Casual has a script to do that, however).Īctive Pose gives more robust pinning, but the pinning respects only translations performed by dragging bones in the viewport which is limiting. but actually it are assgined as 'pose controller' then not change each bone rotation Raw value, that means, if you use power pose group, then pose nodes, it not set keys for nodes. It is a pane for posing multiple bones at once, though, not an IK system - DS used to call what is now called Active Pose Power Pose (and what is now Power Pose was Puppeteer, which is now used for another plug-in) so if you are seeing references in tutorials on IK0like posing that may be what si meant rather than the PowerPose pane. PowerPose is set up for V4 (and Generation four figures generally) rather tan Genesis. ![]()
